“To assist with the purchase and replacement of rowing equipment for St Peter's College”
For over a century, Rowing has stood as a source of pride and tradition at St Peter’s College. The expertise, endeavour, emotion and resourcing invested by our School community in this program reflects its importance to both current and past students. We have enjoyed consistent success in the development of our young men and in establishing the School’s position across the sport, both locally and nationally, with many of our rowers have achieved notable success on the international stage.
To support our continued success, SPSC has initiated a perpetual funding plan, Project Quick Start. This funding plan enables the systematic renewal of our entire fleet on an estimated 15-year cycle, with each cycle requiring approximately $3.0M in revenue, or $200K per annum. This plan covers fleet replacement and does not address the complete financial requirements of the program including training and coaching equipment and the maintenance of the Finniss and Boat Shed facilities.
However, there is scope to accelerate the planned program of renewal with additional support from our School Rowing community.
We invite you, our Rowing community to contribute to Quick Start , and in doing so, help us bring this project to life ahead of schedule. Any support you can provide will make a difference in the lives of our student rowers and the wider SPSC Rowing community.
Donations can also still be made directly to the Digby Fund through the Quick Start Link Below. Please note, when making the donation that you would like the funds allocated to the Digby Fund.
