Welcome Lucy Stephan

SPSC Rowing is privileged to announce that Lucy Stephan OAM will be joining the senior coaching team.

Lucy brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and an impressive legacy in the sport. She competed in the Olympics in 2016, 2020, and 2024, and was a gold medallist in the women’s coxless four event in Tokyo in 2020. A standout leader both on and off the water, Lucy’s passion for excellence and teamwork will inspire athletes of all levels.

Her journey to the top of the podium is a testament to her hard work, resilience, and deep understanding of the sport. We are fortunate to have her complementing James McRae’s Olympic expertise within our community. Lucy’s commitment to further strengthen our culture of growth and success is sure to make a lasting impact on the program.
