Fleet & Facilities Manager - Joe Tanham

Joe Tanham - SPSC Rowing Fleet and Facilities Manager! 

A huge shoutout to Joe, the St Peter's Rowing Fleet and Facilities Manager! Joe has been working tirelessly over the past few months in the Torrens Boatshed workshop, going over both the Torrens & West Lakes fleet. 

Joe joined the program last year, with some amazing stories to tell from his time as an Underwater Cinematographer, Cyclist and Camera Operator with Netflix. Joe was born in Adelaide and educated in Dublin. Warmer weather beckoned and Joe moved to Cairns where he spent time as an Underwater Camera Operator on the Great Barrier Reef whilst also becoming a Dive Master.  

Joe participated in coastal rowing before more recently working in furniture and car restoration. Joe owned and operated Fly Furniture & Espresso Bar, an Eclectic Interior Design Salvage Antique Furniture Shop for many years. Joe's business was selected as one of the TOP 5 must see places while visiting Adelaide( Lonely Planet Worlds best Cities) and was also selected as a feature in Virgin Airlines "in flight' magazine. The business was featured in a Broadsheet article - see below.
